Writing verse of beauty and grace,
Futurism's embrace,
Recalling the time and place,
Abandoning deep thought's chase.
Losing the key to our soul,
Rejecting the city's toll,
Unable to keep our hearts whole,
Breaking through confusion's hold.
The future's a mystery to behold,
Waiting for us to be bold,
Farewell to the post-modernity we know,
Longing for the vast ocean's flow.
The world speeds up in haste,
Only two minutes left to taste,
Dust and mist in the breeze's trace,
Crossing this cold winter's space.
Carrying homesickness's weight,
Bearing a curse's fate,
Prefer to see UFOs, great,
Never to meet again, too late.
The future's a mystery to behold,
Waiting for us to be bold,
Farewell to the post-modernity we know,
Longing for the vast ocean's flow.

Sorting through my thoughts,
Amidst this chaos, order sought.
Gazing at the words upon the wall,
Each diary entry, every scrawl.
Back to the past,
memories unclear,
Where once we held each other dear.
Tears and laughter, now long gone,
In life we chase,
what we've moved on.
Yet in the misty sky up high,
Unsure when we'll meet again, a sigh.
Only thirty years,
to keep living on,
Answers lost,
but hope's not gone.
